Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Palm & Seal, we take pride in providing efficient and customized services. Due to the time-sensitive and administrative nature of our work, we maintain the following policies:

  • Non-Refundable Payments: All payments are non-refundable once work begins.

  • Confirmation of Appointments: Appointments are confirmed upon payment. An invoice is issued at the time of booking. Appointments that remain unpaid one hour before the scheduled start time may be cancelled. No cancellation fee applies to an unpaid appointment, and you are welcome to rebook once payment is complete.

  • Deposits: We reserve the right to require a deposit to reserve any appointment. Deposits are $25 for Remote Online Notarization (RON) appointments and $50 for mobile notary and apostille appointments. Deposits are applied to your final balance for completed appointments. Deposits are forfeited in the event of a late cancellation or a failure to appear, as described below. Where a deposit is forfeited, it satisfies the late cancellation fee in full and no additional amount will be charged for the same appointment.

  • Advance Notice Required: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice before your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee at our discretion, as described below.

  • Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 12 hours in advance, or failure to appear for a scheduled appointment, are subject to a late cancellation fee of $25 for Remote Online Notarization (RON) appointments and $50 for mobile notary and apostille appointments. Where a deposit has been collected, the deposit is forfeited and satisfies this fee in full.

  • RON Appointment Cancellations: For confirmed Remote Online Notarization (RON) sessions, the $25 late cancellation fee covers reserved platform time, identity verification setup, and administrative preparation. This fee applies only to appointments that have been paid and confirmed.

  • Third-Party and Government Fees: Government, courier, and third-party platform fees (such as RON or apostille agency fees) are non-refundable once submitted.

  • Discretionary Refunds: Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion if services have not yet started.

  • Palm & Seal Cancellations: If an appointment must be canceled by Palm & Seal, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.
